Backups, two new tools, G-code in the library, and a redesigned window
Meshory v1.12.0 · Oct 25, 2026 · 20 changesAutomatic library backups.
Meshory now backs up your library's database on its own, every day, on by default after updating. Backups are compressed, a cover image used more than once is stored once, and it keeps the newest few (5 unless you choose otherwise). Your model files aren't in it.
Nameplate builder.
A new tool in Tools makes nameplates and keyrings from your own text, in fonts for several alphabets, with the keyring hole on the side you choose, and saves a 3MF converted for the slicer you pick.
Vase generator.
A new tool in Tools for designing pots, vases and planters: start from a preset or draw the outline, or read it from a photo or a 3D model, add surface patterns, a saucer or an inner pot, see it in your filament colours or standing in a photo of your room, and save it straight for your slicer.
G-code in the library.
G-code files are now indexed: each card shows the slicer's picture or draws the toolpaths, a G-code filter finds them, and the 3D view shows supports apart from skirts, brims and rafts, with a layer slider to step through the print. It reads G-code from Cura, PrusaSlicer, OrcaSlicer, Bambu Studio, ElegooSlicer, Simplify3D and KISSlicer, and Bambu sliced plate files now draw each plate's G-code instead of an empty bed.
Print time and weight estimates.
Meshory can estimate print time and weight with OrcaSlicer, your own copy or one it downloads when you ask, for Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer projects and for STLs on print lists. Estimates show on the Print card, the viewer's plate and print list rows, and Settings chooses the engine or turns estimating on open off.
Image details.
Images now show their pixel size, DPI and printed size, and you can mark what they're for, note their licence and source, and filter on all of it in the Library.
Measuring in the 3D viewer.
Measure distances and angles on a model or the build plate, switch between perspective and orthographic views, and pick the viewer's background colour.
Build plate toggle.
Show or hide the build plate in the 3D viewer; the choice stays for every model.
Print list folder lines.
A print list line can now stand for a whole folder and hold its parts, rows name the folders their files sit in and have Show in library, and a line with several prints shows the total time.
Duplicate sources.
Duplicate rows, the trash confirmation and the compare dialog now name the source each copy is in.
3MF converter.
The converter now supports more slicers (including Flash Studio), recognises OrcaSlicer files instead of reading them as Bambu Studio, re-centres plates on Creality Print beds, falls back to a Generic filament the destination lacks, opens in place from more places, and warns when the chosen slicer is already the file's own.
Window header.
The title bar is now Meshory's own header across macOS, Windows and Linux, with the library's breadcrumb and search moved up into it and filters joining them on wide windows.
Large STL previews.
Computers with 32 GB of RAM render two large binary STL previews at once, and PCs that report slightly under 32 GB now get those settings.
Windows Smart App Control.
With Smart App Control on, Windows no longer blocks Meshory at launch.
Backup restore.
If Windows refuses to swap in a restored library, Meshory opens your current one instead of failing on every launch, the app no longer opens the library before a restore can replace it, and the dialog shows Restarting before the window closes.
Library toolbar.
The toolbar switches to its slim layout before its buttons squeeze the search box.
Freezes on big libraries.
Generating every preview up front on a very large library, or backing up a library with lots of cover art, no longer freezes the app for seconds at a time.
Archive extraction.
7z and RAR entries with names Windows can't create now extract using a safe substitute instead of failing the whole batch.
Archive entries that differ only in case.
Two files in one archive whose names differ only in capitals, such as Part.stl and part.stl, now open as themselves instead of one showing the other.
Scanned PDF thumbnails.
PDFs of full-page scans no longer time out while generating a preview.
