Meshory for Etsy sellers

Meshory is a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, made by Onemind LTD, that organizes 3D-printing files. For sellers who print what they sell, it will turn your Etsy orders into prints to make. You download your orders from Etsy as a CSV file and open it in Meshory: there is no shop connection and nothing to authorize. It is in development and not available yet. This page explains what it will do, and what it reads and keeps.

What it does

Orders become prints. Each item in an order you haven't shipped becomes a print on a Meshory print list, with its quantity and the personalization the buyer entered. Meshory works out a ship-by date from the sale date and a processing time you set, or you enter it yourself. Meshory compares that date with how long the prints take, so you can see an order at risk before it's late.

Importing again is safe. Open a newer file whenever you like. Orders Meshory already has are not added twice.

Meshory never contacts Etsy, messages buyers, or changes anything in your shop.

Getting your orders file

On Etsy, go to Shop Manager, then Settings, then Options, and open the Download Data tab. Under Orders, choose the Order Items CSV type and a month (or no month, for the whole year), then select Download CSV. Open the file in Meshory.

What Meshory reads and keeps

On your computer only. Meshory reads the file on your computer. Its contents are never sent to Onemind LTD or anyone else.

Buyer details. Etsy's file includes details about the buyer, such as their name and shipping address. Meshory drops them as it reads the file, so they are never stored or shown in the app. What it keeps is the order number, the items and quantities, the personalization, and the sale and shipping dates.

Personalization. It is whatever the buyer typed, so it can include a name. Meshory shows it on the print it belongs to.

How long. Once a newer file shows an order as shipped, or you mark it done, Meshory deletes its order number and personalization within 30 days. Your print history keeps only which model was printed, how many, and when.

The file itself. Meshory doesn't keep a copy. The file stays where you saved it, buyer details included, so delete it once it's imported.
