Why a 3MF shows blank

A blank tile almost always means the thumbnail hasn't rendered yet. Here's how to tell, and what to do.

Thumbnails render in the background, so during a scan an empty tile usually just means a render worker hasn't reached that file yet. Give it a moment and it fills in.

If a specific 3MF stays blank after rendering has caught up, it's typically a project file with no embedded preview image and contents Meshory couldn't render a fallback for. Open it in the 3D viewer to inspect it directly; multi-plate Bambu projects open there plate by plate.

1. 1Wait for the scan to finish so rendering can catch up.
2. 2Open the file in the 3D viewer to confirm it loads.
3. 3If it still won't preview, rescan the source, and share the file in the Discord so we can look at it.
