Install on macOS, Windows & Linux

Download the right build for your OS, get past the first-run prompts, and activate your license.
Meshory ships a native build for each platform. Grab yours from the downloads page. Every build is the same app; only the installer differs.
macOS
The macOS build is a single universal app for both Apple Silicon and Intel, and it's signed and notarized by Apple. Open the disk image and drag Meshory to your Applications folder. It needs macOS 12 Monterey or later and about 4 GB of RAM.
Windows
Windows gets a standard 64-bit installer for Windows 10 and 11. The early-access build isn't code-signed yet, so on first run Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC". This is expected: nothing is wrong with your download.
- 1When the blue SmartScreen dialog appears, choose More info.
- 2A Run anyway button appears. Click it to continue.
- 3Setup then proceeds normally. This only happens once per build.
Signing is on the roadmap. Until then, the checksum published next to each download lets you confirm a build is really ours before you run it.
Linux
Linux ships as a portable AppImage for any modern distro, no package manager needed. Mark it executable and run it. It expects glibc 2.31 or newer on x86_64, and the AppImage bundles its own runtime, so it doesn't depend on the libfuse2 package that Ubuntu 24.04 and other recent distros stopped shipping. Prefer your package manager? A .deb package is offered next to the AppImage on the downloads page.
chmod +x Meshory*.AppImage && ./Meshory*.AppImage
Activate your license
On first launch, paste the license key from your purchase email and activate. Activation is a quick online check, so you'll need a connection that first time. After that the license is verified locally and the app launches fine offline; it just re-confirms the license automatically whenever you're online (a machine kept fully offline for months will eventually ask to connect once). Your license isn't locked to a device: install Meshory on as many computers as you own, with no activation limits. See One license, many computers for details.
First launch also walks you through a short setup, including how you want to browse (your real folder tree, or one flat grid of every model across your sources) and whether to share anonymous usage stats. Both choices can be changed later in Settings.
