Add your first source folder

Point Meshory at a folder, drive, or NAS mount. It reads your library in place. Nothing is moved or uploaded.

A source is any folder Meshory watches: a local folder, an external drive, or a network mount. Add one and Meshory reads the models already there. It never moves, copies, or uploads your files.

1. 1Add a source and pick the top-level folder of your library.
2. 2Meshory walks the folder and indexes everything it finds, so the library is listed and searchable well before every file has been read.
3. 3Previews are drawn as you browse: scroll the grid and Meshory renders thumbnails for the models onscreen, including the ones inside ZIP, RAR, 7Z and TAR/TGZ archives. That is the default; How previews are generated covers rendering everything upfront instead, and showing the picture that came with a model rather than a render.

You don't have to wait for the whole thing to finish. Indexing is the only pass that covers the entire source, and previews follow wherever you scroll, so you can browse, search, and open models while scanning continues.
