Adding drives, NAS mounts & folders

Add as many local folders, external drives, and network mounts as you like. Meshory watches them all in place.
Meshory is built for libraries spread across many places. Add every folder, drive, and NAS mount you own as separate sources and it indexes and renders all of them into one browsable library.
- Local folders on your internal disk
- External and USB drives
- Network volumes (NAS) mounted on your system
- Cloud-synced folders like OneDrive, Dropbox or iCloud Drive (see OneDrive, Dropbox, iCloud & cloud-synced folders)
Sources are watched in place: Meshory reads from where your files already live and never relocates them. Local folders and drives get a live file watcher; network sources are refreshed on a short cycle instead, and again whenever the app window regains focus. If a mount goes offline, an amber bar across the library names the source and offers a Recheck button, and Meshory picks the source back up automatically once it's reachable again; see Rescanning & watching.
Network volumes are slower to read than local disks, so when you run duplicate analysis against one it works at a gentler, NAS-friendly pace, and it only reads files whose size matches another file's, to keep the load light. If you'd rather leave a NAS alone entirely, switch off “Duplicate detection on network folders” in Settings → Scanning. If a NAS scan seems to crawl, it's usually the network, not Meshory.
