Plan prints with the Print queue

Updated Oct 11, 2026 · 4 min read

Put models on print lists for a market or a gift run, plan them across your printers, tick off what's made and export a checklist.

The Print queue, in the sidebar between Collections and Duplicates, keeps track of what you mean to print. Each print list is one batch, like the stock for a market stall or a run of gifts, and counts what's still to make and what's made. It plans the work for the printers on your bench without ever talking to them.

Make a list

Start a list on the Print queue page, or choose New print list… wherever you add models. Give it a name and, if you like, a due date and a color. Every list has a To make group and a Made group. When a batch is done, Move to Finished in the list's menu files it under Finished, and Move back to active brings it back.

Add models

Only 3D models go on a list. A line counts copies, so five dragons is one line with 5 copies, and each copy of a multi-plate 3MF prints all of its plates.

By list or by printer

The switch at the top of the page changes the view. By list shows each list and what it still needs. By printer is a board with one lane per printer plus Not assigned: drag a plate onto a printer to plan it there, or between printers to move it. If a plate is too big for a printer's bed, Meshory says so.

Your printers live under Printers. Pick them from the printer presets of the slicers installed on this computer (PrusaSlicer's aren't read yet), or add one by hand with its name, bed size and nozzle. Meshory never connects to them: a printer here is a name and a bed for planning.

Mark what's printed

In a list, +1 on a row marks one print made, and selecting several rows brings up Mark all printed. Mark started shows a plate as printing on its printer, and can open it in your slicer at the same time. On the board, Printed or Failed records how it went. Failed asks whether to print it again next on that printer, put it back unassigned or not reprint it, how far it got, and for an optional note.

Every change shows an Undo notice. To correct a count later, Take back one print asks why: It wasn't printed takes it off the count, and It came out bad puts it back on the list to print again while the model's history keeps it as failed.

A model's Details has a Made card with its print history, and library cards show Printed once or Printed 3 times. The Printed menu in the library toolbar narrows the grid to models On a print list, Printed or Never printed, so you can see what you've made from the library without opening the queue.

Printing time and filament left

A sliced 3MF carries the slicer's print time and filament per plate, shown in the Print card in Details (see Multi-plate 3MF projects). The Print queue adds those up into the printing time and filament a list still needs. STL files carry no estimate, and an unsliced 3MF has none until you add your own print time and weight in its Print card.

Export on a list offers Print checklist (PDF) and Print checklist (CSV). The PDF is an A4 page with the items made, the prints, printing time and filament left, a table of plates with tick boxes, and your notes. The CSV has one row per plate, with the list, model, plate, copies, made, printer, minutes, grams, filament and file, ready for a spreadsheet.

Print lists are part of your library, so a backup carries them to a new computer.
