Search tens of thousands of models by name, path, tag, creator or description, and narrow the grid with filters.

Search is built to stay fast across a very large library. Results update as you type, matching on model name, folder path, tag names, AI-written descriptions, even file paths inside ZIP, RAR, 7Z and TAR/TGZ archives. Folders match too: a folder whose name fits your search appears as its own result card, and opening it jumps you straight into browsing that folder.

To find 3MF projects by who made them, type creator:Name, or creator:"Two Words" for a name with a space. It matches the designer saved in the file or a MakerWorld account you named, ignoring case and spacing, and several creator: terms narrow the result further. Tags work the same way: tag:Name keeps models with that tag, and -tag:Name leaves them out.

Press Cmd+F (Ctrl+F on Windows and Linux) to jump to the search field with your last query selected, or just start typing while no text field has focus. To search from another app, record a global shortcut in Settings → General: it brings Meshory to the front with the search ready to type into. It stays off until you turn it on. On Linux under Wayland, apps can't catch keys pressed elsewhere, so Settings shows a command to add as a custom shortcut in your desktop's keyboard settings instead.

The scope control in the toolbar decides what the grid shows: All, Models, STL, 3MF, SVG, or more, where the remaining model formats (G-code among them), the archive formats and the kinds Images, Documents, Archives and Videos live (Videos fills up once Index videos is on in Settings → Scanning). Exactly one is active at a time. The flat view of your whole library starts on Models, so a pack folder does not open as a photo dump; pick All or a kind to see the pictures, readmes and archives too, and Meshory remembers the choice. Beyond scope, filters narrow the grid by source, folder, tag, collection and favorites, so you can carve a 40,000-model library down to just the STLs in one source, or just the favorites with a given tag. Sorting covers name, date, and file size, each in both directions, so newest-first and largest-first are one click. Images sized for print

Open an image and its Image details panel shows its size in pixels, the DPI saved in the file, and how big it prints at that DPI and at 300 DPI. Enter a print width and height and a target DPI to see whether the resolution is enough, and mark what the image is for, UV printing, laser engraving or cutting, along with its licence and source link. To mark several at once, select them, right-click and choose Image uses.

When the scope is Images, an Image details button joins the filters. It narrows the grid by pixel size, saved DPI, the size an image prints at your target DPI, its intended use, whether its resolution is enough, and words in its licence or source.
